i havent owned a bullfrog before but i have a pyxie right now...pyxies are bullfrogs too and are very very fun to keep...but can eat quite a lot so feeding will become a bit expensive

Do Pyxies come in albino? Also, have you owned american bullfrogs before? I can see you both prefer pyxies.

I do not have a Pyxie. Mine are Pacman Frogs or South American Horned Frogs. I have never owned either, but if you want more information on Pyxies then post some questions in the Giant African Bullfrog section of the forum and you will receive plenty of information.

I would explain the size they can reach as well as the amount of food they eat so she knows what her brother is getting into Lol!!

Adult male African bullfrogs can weigh up to 4lbs and be anywhere from 5-9 inches snout to vent needless to say they eat a lot my juvi maybe 3 months old eats anywhere from 5-7 adult night crawlers a day and it gets expensive keep in mind they grow exceptionally fast and need fairly large tanks that can become quite expensive
