    did a google search

Temperature and Lighting: Because these frogs are nocturnal, there are no special lighting requirements (i.e. exposure to UVB is not necessary, although some exposure won't hurt). However, a basking light or heater should be provided, outside of the cage, to provide a gradient of 80-86 F (27-30 C) during the day, with a drop to 72-78 F (22-25 C) at night. As always, use a thermometer to confirm that appropriate temperatures are provided. Lighting should be subdued (and if needed at night, use a nocturnal bulb), and a regular light-dark cycle should be used (12 hours light and 12 hours dark should be acceptable).

my red eye tree frogs have no lighting at all on them. i used to use a red bulb and a blacklight bulb. they seemed to not like it very much. my frogs will not wake up unless its completely dark. i would only use a light if you need to bring up the temperature. my red eyes are fine with the temperature of my house. they do not NEED to be kept above 80 degrees. no way for me to tell you what wattage you need. it all depends on the temperature of your tank with no light. and the size of your tank. some lights would over heat some tanks and underheat others. so just get something to bring it up to ideal temperatures and either turn it off at night or get a timer for it.

I also use T5 lighting for the plants but I don't have night lighting and just go with room temps at night.
