Default how often do your toads croak?

I've got 3 males and only one ever makes noise. How often do your males croak? if mines aren't croaking, are they unhappy?

Since I've gotten mine, I've noticed two of the three croak every night, after all the lights are out. Haven't heard them do it any other time (that's also when my kids are in bed, not sure if that affects it or not.)

My frogs croak every night. The toad I had in the past did too.

They might just be quieter, or perhaps your others are females .

well i'm pretty sure zook at least is a male because the day we got him we heard a new croak. he croaked maybe 3 times. that was the one and only tme we heard it. I've gotten use to Whammy's croak and I know that other one was different. My husband heard it too and agreed. I thought I saw zook mount Camo too so I'm pretty sure he's male. Camo though... I go back and forth. Never heard a sound from that one except the dismount call, never seen him mount another one either. I'm going to condition them to breed next spring so that I can know for sure, lol

Sounds like a plan! I'm still unsure on what mine are, I just know I hear two distinct noises and that's about it, lol.

If their croaking, they are males . I love when they sing. It's awesome .

My red eyes sing across the room to each other (some are still in quarantine), and they sing to my male in the living room.

Firebellies are so cute! I love how they have energetic, fun, silly personalities .

i've only seen one of mine croak. I know another has croaked and I assume it was the one we had just put in the tank. one of my other two I'm fairly certain is female and the other I'm thinking is an adolescent male which is why he doesn't croak. I dunno. I guess we'll see next spring!
