Here are some of my frogs! They are 2 and half months old. I think they may all be females.
They are gorgeous, where did u get them?
Thanks! I ordered a frog hatchery kit from insectlore.com and they sent 7 tadpoles which all survived
They all look healthy frogs but they're still very young and I can't tell what sex they are. Is the frog in the first picture the same one that's in the top right hand corner of the second picture?
I'm not really sure to be honest, but I think so. I'm glad they are looking healthy. Here's a pic I took of their sibling, Jupiter. He's much smaller and his back feet seem small/deformed but maybe he just needs to grow more. What do you think, does he look healthy to you? He's still an awkward swimmer, but at least he's been eating these days. I didn't think he was going to make it for a while there.

How long did it take for the tads to morph?
The reason I asked about the frog in the first and second picture is that its left forelimb appears to be slightly malformed insofar as it's bent inwards in both pictures. I suspect that Jupiter's hind legs are not as they should be too. I think that both frogs should be okay though in the protected environment of a tank. Unfortunately this sort of thing isn't uncommon and deformed forelimbs afflict different species of froglets, most notably in poison dart frogs, where the condition's known as "spindly leg syndrome". I don't know the reason for it. The best thing you can do is continue looking after the frogs as as well as you have been doing so far.
Oh! I haven't really noticed any problems with the 3 frogs besides Jupiter. They seem to be healthy and active. I'll keep my eye on everyone. Thank you for the information. Jupiter still doesn't seem to be getting any bigger. He's eating 1 or 2 broken up reptomin sticks a day, but now he likes to stay very very still on the bottom ALL the time. i clean up the waste daily with a turkey baster. I could poke all around where he is and he doesn't respond, not even if i gently nudge him. he only responds to a flashlight in his face like half the time now. I'm afraid he's like... lifeless. I know he's still alive because he eats when i'm not there and if i tap the glass SOMETIMES he'll move a little.
I have a question about another sibling, who i did not post pictures of yet. her name is venus and she's the prettiest and has unique markings. her feet look slightly deformed to me but she's growing and eating but she sheds a lot! she lives with mars and sometimes i see them both eat skin coming off of her. i've read that's normal. but are they supposed to eat all of it? for the last 2 weeks their tank has been DISGUSTING. it looks like pieces of skin sunk to the bottom and it gets stured up when they swim around and it just looks odd because i haven't seen this in my other tanks. i'll clean the whole tank, replace whatever and 2 hours later it looks the same. i installed a filter last week, hoping it would help but then my yard-sale tank started leaking so i moved them into a temporary tank without a filter. now i change the water every other day and pick up the waste with the turkey baster.
thanks for reading!
