    Default Cricket Fail :(

SO I want to try to breed crickets but so far iv epically failed. I have food, water in with the adults I put a plastic container with most dirt for the eggs and I can see a lot in there but I still don’t have any baby crickets. I keep the egg containers at 80 degrees and make sure the dirt stays most. Can anyone tell me if I’m doing anything wrong

The temperature for the cricket eggs is the most important part of all of this.
The ideal temperature for all activities of the cricket bin is 82 - 86°F.
If lower (from 72 - 76°F ie room temp), everything takes longer.
A lamp with a 60-watt bulb close to the cage would be enough heat to 84°F.
Be careful not to let the bulb contact the plastic bin. Yikes terrarium wall, as it will melt a hole.
Crickets will begin to die in a bi with a temperature > 96 F
The eggs should really take about 2 weeks to hatch w/ the proper temps.
However, I have had it take longer.
Keep the soil -the eggs are in- damp at all times, but mot soaked. Misting works well.
That said, you might try bumping the temp !!
