Aw I am so sorry for your loss good idea about taking the others to the Vet..
My 15 year old White's Tree Frog Hetfield (RIP 1996-June 4, 2012) and my little girl Lucy
Thank you
Yeah I'm going to have to clean out every tank and get new plants/dirt/wood. I'm going to see if the vet will do an autopsy on her so I know exactly what made her pass, especially since Eddie and Kevin are looking a bit skinny tonight and I really hope its not the same thing as Flower. They eat and eat and eat but never seem to gain weight :/
Thank gosh I have a reptile specialist vet near by
Im so sorry.
I have a quick question: how many gallons is her quarantine tank?
Thank you and five.
I could only get into the vet at 6pm tomorrow, I hope my little guy will make it untill then . They are going to have a look at everybody including Flower and I'm going to clean out every tank. Tonight I'm going shopping for tanks and new dirt ect.
Aww sorry to hear about flower , hope your other frogs get well soon.
Thank you so much
After spending $300 on travel tanks I went to the vet today
All of the frogs were fine except for 'Aspen' the Spotted Marsh Frog. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with him and why flower died, but it would have been an additional $200 to find out what happened to flower. He said he is sure it wasn't the grass seeds. All the frogs are the perfect weight and I have a spotted marsh frog full of eggs
Flower is preserved in a jar incase Aspen dies and I want to have pathology done on her to figure out whats wrong.
I got this Saline (they also added stuff to it) to soak him in for 30mins a day
And this to drop on his head everyday
Hang in there Kristen.
Your a great Froggy Mamma !!
I have great respect for you having taken your frogs to the vet and for having taken such a thorough approach to this!

I will! I just hope he makes it.
Thank you so much!
I would just hate for anything else to happen to my little babies, the vet was great though and Eddie even started croaking in the waiting room haha.
Good luck to your babies, that is so funny about Eddie! Cute!!!

Thank you!
And haha yeah at first I was kinda like "Whats that noise?" and then realised it was Ed croaking away
So Sorry about Flower, Kristen! How are the other froggies doing?
hey im frosty im sorry to hear about your frog hope the other gets better
Frosty
Thank you both
My other little guy Aspen is hasn't improved, but hasn't gotten worse. He isn't eating but the vet said thats not a problem cause his in great body condition. His still having his soaks and drops daily and he seems a bit more active after the soak, but when I put him back in the tank he stays in that spot till the next soak. I'm sure he will be fine by the end of his medicine!
Hi Kristen!
Im so sorry about flower and i really hope your Aspen improves.
Us Aussies have a true fighting spirit do we
Best wishes!
Hi Kristen,
It takes a really long time. If I remember correctly , you followed along when Boggie was sick.
Remember he did not eat ( by himself) for 7 weeks !!
It turned out he was stressed from having been moved!
Aspen will get better! Continue your thoroughness in treating him .............. as you have been!
" Eddie even started croaking in the waiting room" -- Imagine that !
