Thread: Bullfrog Tank

  1. #1

    Default Bullfrog Tank

I am thinking about getting a 3 inch albino Bullfrog froglet. How big should the tank be for when it grows up, and what is the best way to house them, as I've heard they need a lot of space. Also, is it true that they have to be kept alone? It surprises me that not many people own them, since they are so common. Is there something bad about them? I've heard different opinions on them and how to care for them, and I just want to make sure I'm doing it right.

There is nothing wrong with Bullfrogs, they just tend to be very aggressive and require a large enclosure. A habitat for a full grown Bullfrog needs to be at a minimum a 100 gallon tank, half of it water. The water needs to be at least a foot deep, and have a slant going up to the land.
