    Default Hunting or feeding bowl?

    Hello everyone!

In around 2 weeks in finally getting my whites tree frogs! I haven't decided whether im going to buy 3 or 4, but at least ill have them!

Im starting my dubia roach colony tomorrow and im not sure if i should put them in a feeding bowl when giving them to the frogs, or letting them run around.

Im going to have large pebbles as the base and a half water area with waterfall. I know they don't climb so they will stay in the land part, but im not sure if they will squeeze
through the gaps between pebbles and hide.

Plus, i won't really have much room for a feeding role but if its necessary, i will have one.

    Hi there!

Dubia roaches climb pretty well on everything except glass and smooth plastic. Just something to keep in mind.
They will try to burrow and hide and depending on the size of the pebbles you might risk having a frog swallowing one and die. So a feeding bowl might be the best choice.

Another thing on the dubias. If you plan on feeding from your colony right from the start, you really need the get a high starting number of roaches.

Good luck with your new frogs!
