I have three baby White's tree frogs, Ebb, Jupiter, and JuneBug. JuneBug and Jupiter are about the same size, about 2 1/2 inches. Ebb is much younger, only about 1 1/2 inch long. She has stopped eating from the feeding tongs, and hasn't eaten that I have seen for the past two weeks. Panicking, I just keep putting a bunch of crickets in the terrarium, hoping she will hunt. What can I do? Am I worrying unnecessarily? Also, frogs are nocturnal, but they all seem to be awake when I check on them during the day. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!![]()
How large is the tank you have them in? 18x18x24 is good for two but might not be big enough for three. Ebb may be getting "picked on" by the larger frogs and might be afraid to hunt or even take food directly from you. I had that problem when I put my gray and green together. My gray was use to being an "only child" and was much plumper then the green and would literally throw her weight around and take all the crickets I put in the tank. I had to seperate them for about a month until the green gained a bit of weight and could stand on his own 4 feet so to speak.
Maybe Ebb needs to be by herself while she grows a bit. A 10 gal would probably be big enough for the little one on her own.
