I wouldn't feed them rancid items. I am sure wild frogs eat stuff like that all the time, But yours are not wild.

i wouldnt feed them dead bloodworms that arent freeze dried, especialy if there smelling. if your bloodworms die alot when you get them just buy some freeze dried ones like most people and hand feed them to your frogs. with my frogs i just put the bloodworm on my finger and put it in the water still on my finger then the frogs will just come up and nip at my finger till they get the blood worm

What kind of bloodworms are they? Are they the bloodworms that are harvested here in Maine? Those come from clam flats. They eat steamers and are not liked by the clam diggers at all!

Like Tony said, don't feed them rancid/decaying bloodworms. Live or frozen are the only two safe options.

I like to leave out the bottoms of flower pots on my back porch during the summer, let the rain fill them with water and let insects drop their larvae in them. I go out with a net and scoop them up and drop them in my cardinal tetra/corydora tank. It's free fish food.

    Sorry mat,
but I would refrain fro feeding ay kind of freeze dried food since it can cause gas bloat.
