Spring water can be iffy.....if the label says specifically that it is chlorine free, then it's okay. If not, keep the jugs open so that any chlorine can evaporate and wait at least 24 hours before you use it.
Lighting is a preference. Some feel it is necessary, others do not. Take Grif's advice on the bulbs to use.

Like I said, little packets of dark matter. You should be able to see them in the hole the frog digs into.....it will leave that hole for a "fresh" one on a regular basis.
