    Default Website ?

So i am admittedly not the most computer savvy person. I don't understand all the workings of this website, how to link threads etc. I am apparently not allowed to post private messages, I don't understand what that option is for then? What is the harm in it? I wanted to know since John had replied to one of my posts last month about how he brings his frogs out of hibernation? My gtf is in a cold, dark closet now and has been for 4 wks. I just put her entire enclosure in there. My first question is I notice she still uses her water bowl so I was curious if that is normal. The second question is how/when I should take her out of hibernation, (temp&light increases etc.) Sorry about the misunderstanding about the private messages.

Please don't be melodramatic. I asked you to post your question on the forum for two reasons. Firstly, it is directly relevant to your previous thread, and secondly, everyone benefits from having the answer publicly viewable instead of just between you and I.

Now for my answer. In my opinion she shouldn't be moving around at all if the conditions she's being kept under are constantly cold. This leads me to believe she's not really hibernating.

To bring the frog out of hibernation I would gradually, in stages over a few days, keep her warmer and warmer until she is at the temperature at which you intend to maintain her.

It is possible that I genuinely didn't know about the rules of private messages and wanted to educate myself on them. I thank you for your answer however I don't understand the need for the "melodramatic" comment. If stating the reasoning behind a question is considered to be sensationalizing and overly dramatic then I am confused once again.
