So I paired up my Male Apricot to Huge female Brown and I did not see them lock up at all. However, this morning I found the whole tub had this white foam. The water temp was approx 80-82. Could it be that the temp and perhaps some deification may have created this white foam. I'm thinking it's that but I would love to hear from all of you as to what you think.
The water needs to be changed. Feces caused it. The ammonia levels are high. Get a ammonia tester and test the water. If it is too high it will kill the tadpoles.
You still have to clean the water for them even if they are mating......if they are in a rain chamber, there should be a protected filter so it cleans the water as it circulates while padded to protect the eggs/tadpoles.
Thank you for all of your help. I may just hang it up for a couple of months. I'll let them put on some size.
They need a rain chamber. Post pics of what you are using. Maybe it can be fixed. Took me almost a year to get mine to breed the first time I tried breeding. I had almost no help.
