So my little baby Jouke Box, after two weeks in a recovery tank and a full worm diet to help fix his muscles after a gnarly exposed cloaca, finally got ti go back to his old home a few days ago. He's still eating like a champ, but his eyes have started changing color. Being an albino, this is a big worry to me. I understand they are prone to blindness! But, what could be the cause? I dont use uvb lighting, his diet is a staple of red wigglers and dubia roaches, and temp are at 80-85 during the day. I do have occational sunlight in my room.... But it is niether direct nor eneogh to even light up the room. Could this tiny amount of uv light from my window be causing his blindness? If so, what should i do? My room is the only room available, and i hve no place away from the sun completely other than a cubboard where i keep mice... Would it even be right to shove my frog in a cubboard? I think the lack of ventalation could be worse than sun.... Any idea if the sun is the issue? Any other possibilities that could be causing te color change? There is no grey film forming, and he doesnt appear to be irritated. But if it is blindness i want to catch it right away! He's INCREDBILY mellow for a pacman, and wont eat from tongs.... So i fear if he goes blind he may end up starving
