My name is Amanda and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself!

I am college student finishing up my Bachelors degree in Environmental Science (with a minor in Biology), I intern for my local park system monitoring vernal pools, I also work at an environmental education center where I not only care for a large list of animals (including many frogs and toads!) but also teach preschool-7th graders about animals and ecosystems, and I am currently working on my capstone research project which deals with Chytrid Fungus and Amphibian populations.

I have always been an avid lover and admirer of frogs and toads, but only recently became an owner and caretaker. I currently own 3 Green Tree Frogs and 1 Red Eye Tree Frog, but hope to own more soon! At work I care for White's Tree Frogs, Fire Belly Toads, Tomato Frogs, American Toads, and African Clawed Frogs.

I am very excited about being part of this forum to not only keep on learning more about frogs and toads, but maybe meet fellow frog admirers! Thank you
