    Default Nyctixalus pictus

    Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone could give me any information about caring for this lil frog? I come from scotland and its the first time they have been offered in the UK. Just looking for any information about them as finding a caresheet or info on them is nearly impossible <i might not have been looking in the right place..lol>

Thanks.. any information would be great

I don't know much, but what I do know is they are members of the family Rhacophoridae (Old World treefrogs), a family that also includes Vietnamese mossy frogs and blue-webbed flying frogs. I would assume you would keep them like them or any other tropical treefrog.

Had a guy on an other forum breed them. Believe he said care was consistent with that of T. corticale. Although I coulda' sworn he kept them warmer, as T. corticale do best at sub-70 Fahrenheit. If they're being offered where you are, make a point to ask them what temps they're keeping them at.
