I need your guys advice. I have a Blue Phase White's in a 30 gallon tank right now all by himself. I've had this frog for about two years. Yesterday my cousin called and wanted to know if I wanted a few frogs (he's a reptile guy and wasn't paying as much attention to the frogs as he felt he should). So now, in a separate room, I have a 10 gallon tank with 3 Red Eyed Tree Frogs and 2 Cope's Gray Tree Frogs. If these new frogs turn out to be healthy, I'm sort of thinking I might prefer them in the bigger tank. If I go that route, is there a certain type of cleaner I should use so that they'll both be as clean as possible for them to start anew?
Just put a little bleach in some water and clean it out that way. Make sure you rinse it completely before putting the frogs in. Don't use any soil, branches, or other items from the old tank to the new tank. I even keep the plants separate although they can be rinsed with the bleach water as well. A razor blade and ultra fine steel wool are good for cleaning hard water deposits off the glass if you have that problem.
