Default Identifying frogs in the field

When I venture out to find frogs I probably should be going to ponds & lakes correct? Do frogs live in rivers? What about when it rains will frogs venture out? Okay so if I find a frog or have a question do any of you use AOL Instant Messenger? (AIM | Chat, Share, Connect) It is useful to be able to chat or send a pic about a frog when away from my MacBook & I only have my iphone. If you do not use AIM, do you use Yahoo Messenger or Google Talk? IM networks are very useful when on the road and away from my MacBook as the iphone cannot access this site very easily due to many reasons.

Yes, when looking for frogs you should be looking around water, such as a small pond or creek. It could be possible to find frogs around a river. Usually during and after a down pour of rain, frogs will venture out. You usually hear them more when it rains.

I don't have AOL, but I have YIM. I don't get on it much, though. You may want to look into getting the Photobucket App to help post your pictures with your phone. It's not that hard to access this forum via iPhone. I do it from time to time when I'm away from my laptop.

Well I am on my iPhone and testing it. I was not aware they had a mobile version of this site. I got Photo Bucket but is it free? I have Flickr so not sure why PhotoBucket is better.

Photobucket is free. I'm not sure if there is a Flickr app - I've never used it.

There is also a facebook page for Frog Forum https://www.facebook.com/frogforum, but I don't know how active it is. Use it to share your field herping adventures and I'm sure it will draw more viewers.
