Hello everyone!
This topic has been on my mind: Rainchambers. I have heard so much dispute about if they're needed or not.
Im planning on breeding some Green tree frogs and many sites say that you have to stimulate "rain" but is a rain chamber
really necessary? Could i just mist lots?
After cycling the frogs, would it stress them out and put them off laying eggs if i moved them into a different enclosure where it rains?
Im very interested into what you guys have to say. Have you had success with rain chambers or is it good to let nature take its course?
Thanks guys!
i think you should just work on basic husbandry with your frogs before venturing into breeding. Jumping into the hobby and trying to go straight into breeding is something i would advise on not doing
Josh, of course. I wasn't planning on doing it straight away. maybe 2 years time.
So, anyone else have success with rain chambers?
does anyone know - when does tree frogs generally start breeding? mine are about 2.5 months old......... and i dont think they can breed yet~
umm, im pretty sure that the male is ready after one year and the female after 2 years.
So, anyone have experience with rain chambers?
