Unhappy Are they good or bad white spots?

    Hello all!

I live in Greece and back in December i was lucky enough to get myself a small friend.. my little green tree frog.
For the last few days, he seems to be waking up during the day, and today, I have also noticed that he has some white spots on his back. Never saw them before, or maybe i was not watching close enough.

The weather here has been really hot, and it seems that he might be feeling hot and waking up? Not quite sure..

What do you think? I had his home cleaned and the substrate was changed about 2 weeks ago. The temperature is between 25-29 during the day, and drops to 25 during night. The humidity is between 60-70.

    Any suggestions? I'm freaking out..

The above photo was taken at the very first days that I had him.. (it's not so clear whether he has any spots or not)

    Hi,
In the 1st photo and the video "spots" are difficult to see .
However, in photo # 2 the spots on your frog look perfectly normal to me!
His spots will show up more when he is a darker shade of green.

Yeah, the spots are nothing to be concerned about. He looks healthy to me. The only concern I have is the fact that he's waking up in the middle of the day. Red Eyes just don't do that. Are you sure about your humidity? Sometimes the gauges are wrong...try digital ones. Make sure you have a clean fresh water dish for him to soak in each night. If you are having an especially hot day...then leave the light out...that will drop it a couple of degrees for you. I think you should try to keep it a little cooler for him. Maybe about 4 or 5 degrees cooler.

Thank you all for your prompt reply I feel a lot better now As instructed on a Greek Forum for Reptiles, (i was on that before i found your forum!) I have put a frozen water bottle on the terra, and the temperature has dropped to 25 already. So, hopefully I will not see his little red eyes open today before night

It's very difficult to get a green eye here, we only get them from abroad, and they're very rare to find. I was thinking of getting a pair, however, there was no pair available! Could it also be that he/she (I have no idea of the sex yet) feels lonely or something? I know that frogs are a species that does create its own community or something, not a one person thing or so .. (please excuse my bad english.. it's rather early here and i just woke up!)

    Have a great day everybody
