Hi everybody! I just started keeping frogs for the first time. My family has always had dogs. My sister has a couple of turtles that she's had for a while. My brother had a turtle and it died. I was petsmart with my girlfriend about a month ago or so. We went to get her a beta fish and while we were there I fell in love with the Fire Bellies. I bought one on the spot. They sold me a small round enclosure with an island in the middle, some orange stones and some crickets. I didn't know what I was doing.

Upon further investigation I found out that my brother still had his 10 gallon tank from when he had his turtle so I asked if I could have it and he gave it to me. I set it up with 2 small fake plants, the bridge he had, and some rocks (About 1/4 land 3/4 water). I started to accrue some more plants and added a small filter.

I was at petsmart recently and decided to get some more FBTs as I realized that Master Chief was lonely. I purchased 2 more, Cortana and The Arbiter. I was able to figure out that The Arbiter is definitely a male as I heard him barking the other day as he was trying to mount Master Chief. I believe MC and Cortana are both females at this point.

Fire bellies are great beginners frogs. They're pretty easy to care for and alot of fun to watch.
Your new enclosure looks great and I bet they like it alot.
