My husband is a long-haul truck driver who is currently doing a 34 hour turnover at a truck stop in Nogales, AZ. He takes our little Lhasa/Poo, Dani Lynn with him for company. I guess that they had a gully washer last night. They were going for a walk along a ditch and Dani found a puddle that she was most interested in. When Ron investigated, he found 2 tiny toadlets who must have been washed into the depression during the storm. He rolls his eyes at me whenever I set up a new tank, but he's really a push over, so guess who rescued the newest additions to the family? He'll be home Wednesday and I'll post pictures. Hopefully they'll survive the trip, it would be ashame to save them from a drying up puddle only to not make the trip. I wonder what they'll turn out to be?
