Hello it has been a very long time I have not been on here I just got a White Dumpy Tree Frog on Friday and he eats very well but here's the thing he seems to like being on the floor of his cage and yes he has plenty of stuff to climb on. So is this normal and his colors sense I got him home is a dark green color is that normal also? I would be so happy if anyone could get back to me on this I just want to make sure that the frog is okay thanks.![]()
Hugh, my whites tree frog is different shades of green throughout the day. From lighter green during the day to almost brownish at night. He has also taken to sleeping on a rock on the "ground" during the day as well. He's active and well fed. So I just assume that he is happy and content.
I have heard that when they are down on the ground it can be a sign that the humidity is too low
Mine sleeps on a rock on the ground and hardly ever goes up to the top but my humidity is very high
