Looking at the baby micro frog how does this frog survive, and what is small enough for that little guy to eat?

What can that frog eat? What insect (besides baby bed bugs) are that small?

These frogs eat springtails, mites and ticks.

There are a lot of tiny insects small enough for them to feed on.
Beetles, Diptera, Acarina and Collembola are sometimes less then 1mm in size.
If there wasn't enough to feed on, this species wouldn't have developed in first place

Baby bedbugs would be a great meal. Sadly I do not think they live where these micro frogs are.

You'd be surprised how tiny both bany frogs/toads can be. We are raising tadpoles that would have died in a puddle that dried up after we removed them, which is why we brought them home. Fruit flies are too small for them so we have to skim the grass for aphids and gnats. They are doing well. They are approx 5 mm right now.
