I am going to let John answer your questions as he know a lot more about pac-mans than I do. I just wanted to say welcome aboard.
Thanks . Yeah , Pls answer me fastestthanks everyone
Some one help me pls.. I really concern about substrate
Welcome to the forum. I need to head to bed so this will be quick:
It sounds very big for one pacman but it's nice to hear for a change. The height is probably wasted, I agree.
There isn't really a substrate you can use that won't get on him. In my opinion paper towels are unsuitable for these frogs. I would advise using an untainted soil or clay substrate, or coconut fibre if you can find it.
For youngsters I would feed as much as he will eat in 15 minutes every 2 days or so. More often won't do any harm. Make sure to use a calcium supplement occasionally and a vitamin/mineral supplement is not a bad idea either.
The temperature is fine but under tank heating for these guys is not a great idea - make sure the heater is under only a small part of the tank and don't get the glass very wet where the heater is or you may crack the aquarium.
If you use a proper substrate then it should retain moisture for long periods and misting won't be required very often.
I don't think so. Get a normal coloured bulb for him.
You are most welcome.
Best wishes,
-John

2.Now i use coconut fibre , i want to ask what the time to change , clean the fibre , i'm lazzy zZz...
3.What is the Vitamin Calcilum sup suitble for pacman ?
4 + 5 = What about i use the normal light in my house ?
I must to go i will reply later
Here s what i have to ask
Did i have to water up the fibre , or just dry ok ? Just water bold and moist fibre not too much water can do fine ?
The tank seems fine , temp and humidity fine , only the meal arent fine so what the vitamin and calcium suppliment suitable for pacman , can i use human vtm and calci ? What the type of light they need , uva ? Uvb ? I think my night light red bulb , for noctural is fine , but too dry for pacman skin right ? What lights i must have ? Or my light is ok ?
If i feed fish , do i must to have calcium and canxi supp , thanks .
YOU ARE ALL KNOW THAT EVERY THING ABOUT REPTILE AND AMPHIBIANS ARE VERY RARE AND NOT USUAL IN MY COUNTRY SO THE Vitm and Cal , UTH , BULBS are rare and too expensive for kid like me.
Yeah Vietnam whats that like? Are you using a translator? Keep the fiber moist so that if you squeezed some in your hand only a bit of water would come out. I don't know if they have it there but in the US you can buy commercial reptile and amphibian calcium and vitamin powder. With this you just put some crickets is a container with some and shake it till they are coated in it. Fish are generally not recommended because they sometimes have parasites. If you feed crickets you can also give your frog vitamins by feeding your crickets food that contains vitamins. For example carrots.
it looks like your pacman has great color

Yes he is beautiful one. Like you said , i put warm water in the fibre , because i use UTH for him . Done with the tank substrate.THANKS.I dont have vtm and cal sup for reptiles , just roll the crickets over the human vitamin and cal be fine ??? Or just feed them vegies have vitamins ??? What about my lighting , i use zoomed Night red 60w bulb for noctural , did that make my frog too dry ? What the humidity is perfect for pacman ? What time should i turn on the lights ? What the lights you use now , can i use blue bulb . Thanks
PLs helping me out quicklyThanks again
I am sorry I don't know about the vitamins. The type of lighting depends on temperature but you need a source of light about twelve hours on and twelve hours off to simulate day time and the blue bulb wont work for this because it doesn.t simulate day time you need a source of white light.
You've got to be patient and wait for the pac-man experts to answer you. They are not sitting by the computer just waiting to answer questions. So relax and just wait for an answer.
What I can tell you is, if you don't have access to reptile vitamin and calcium supplements. you can feed the crickets vegetables like carrots, oranges, sweet potatos, and zucchini. The carrots are especially good for beta carotenes which the crickets will convert to vitamin A.
I would think if you got your hands on a ZooMed light bulb, I would think you would be able to get their vitamin and calcium supplements.
The rest of your questions will be better answered by people who can actually keep pac-mans alive. Good luck.
Ok I will patient..Oh i will try normal light bulb 40w for the light because the Zoomed Red bulb is too hotKeep answering . Thanks a lot
Every couple of months. It's not an exact science.
Those sold for reptiles should be fine for your frog.
That's up to you but I recommend fluorescent lighting instead of incandescent - much less heat is produced.
