Default Starting up new tank with Barebottom

Can I do a barebottom tank? Will the lack of substrate cause issues with either the frog being unhappy or humidity problems? I removed the Coco Husk due to odor. I don't like to look of papertowels. Will the barebottom still keep the humidity in if I mist?

im pretty sure it is ok. the thing is keeping it clean. you will need to definitly keep it clean more since you dont have substrate in there. paper towels just makes it easier to clean but you also have to move the frogs in the process and that causes stress. if you have a hole on the bottom of the tank you can flush it. someone posted a similar question to yours in a thread i have on another website and the zoologist seemed to think it was ok as long as it was kept clean. and not just picking up poop. i mean CLEAN CLEAN. and if you cant flush it i would suggest paper towels. this is more for the health of your frogs. not just what you want it to look like.
