Nice little Cranwelli. It would be a good idea to separate the Anole from the tree frogs. It is never a good idea to mix different species of amphibians with each other or amphibians with lizards. Its a disaster waiting to happen. Frogs secrets toxins that can harm the Anole and since they share the same water souce. Your Anole may become ill or die and the frogs can be harmed by the Anole's claws. Just a warning to consider.

I did a lot of reading and I thought the same thing, I will try and find the info that I had that Anole and tree frogs do fine living together in fact where I bought my tree frogs and Anole they were together I have had them for some time and have not had a problem. Thank you for the info...If I have a problem with them in the future I will know that what I thought from the start and what you shared was correct.

I grew up with Lizard's, snakes. spiders but the love my my life will have nothing to do with snakes or 8 legged friends and she thinks frogs are cute...so we started about a year ago with frogs and I am hooked. My local pet shop has 2 walking frogs a red and a yellow so we will have a NEW family member very soon can not wait.

Yeah... I don't think people realize how cool frogs are until they get some. Then they get some more...and some more.. and next thing you know ...they're like me. Frogs coming out my ears..Yikes!

I know the article says that its ok and a lot of pet stores fallow this, but I can honestly tell you that it is risky. The toxins secreted by the frogs can make other animals sick and like I said if they share the same water source then they're being exposed to not only the toxin, but bodily waste as well. Frogs use their water source as a toilet and urinate in the water while bathing. They can both pass disease to one another. You must hold caution in high regard when housing different species together. It is better to be safe than sorry.
