So this next week I'm thinking of doing a major cleaning of my tanks and everything in them with a vinegar solution (I'm having a problem with mold). I was told that its a good idea to let the tanks air out before starting to put things back in, especially the frogs, and this could take a day or two, maybe a bit longer.
I have a "medium" critter keeper that I keep my whites crickets in that is roughly 11x7x8 which looks decent but if we have the "large" (14x8x9) at work I was thinking it would be better. But Whites being so large (she is about 1.5-2 inches long) I dont know if this would be a good place for her for a day or so while her tank airs out. I'm planning to get one anyway so she has something to be in thats larger then the mini fish tank to be in during normal tank cleanings (usually takes an hour, no longer then 2) but I wanted to know if this was ok for a day or so stay. I'd also like it to function as a hospital tank if she ever needed it (at least until I can afford the 20 gal tank and shuffle them around so the 5.5 is empty. figured it would be fine as a hospital/quarantine tank).
So....thoughts?
This is what I'm talking about just in case someone dosn't know what I mean by "critter keeper".

A critter keeper would be fine for temporary housing.
