The Pacman food is a balanced diet for them and we have never had a frog refuse it. Variety is the key for the Pyxies. They will eat until they explode, so it's up to you to limit their diets. We feed mainly earthworms & a similar food to the Pacman food (our own formulation) and they are healthy & do well on this diet. Pacman Food may not be economically sound with 8 adult Pyxie Frogs. We have 2 juveniles and they are garbage disposals!!

I completely agree with Jess. You'll be breaking your wallet to feed 8 adult Pyxies. Plus the portions offered to a Pacman may be significantly larger to satisfy a Lucid. Lol! I. almost certain that Bubba would eat an entire 4 ounce bag in one sitting and still want more.

I was skeptical when I clicked the link but this actually looks pretty awesome. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Gonna try it with my new Pacman who's coming Tomorrow!

Sorry Mikey my auto correct can be sooooo bad sometimes. It was supposed to say the portions for a Pacman are significantly smaller in comparison to what you would offer a Pyxie. Bbaaaahhh!!! Lol!!

    haha quite alright grif!

Thanks for your help ivory / grif. I limit the amount of rodents / chicks my large males are getting, but it just never seems like enough. They are constantly lunging at me ect, i guess its just the nature of the beast . Very curious to know how u make your super secret blend (ivory), as I am attempting to expand my horizons!

My 5 African Bullfrogs will all eat the pacman food and they seem to like it. But I would probably need 1 pound a month to feed them all. I have been buying natural sausage casings and making a 4 inch "sausage" full of about 50 nightcrawlers and 20 roaches, this is how I feed Sloppy Joe. I have also been looking around for a way make my own powder and was thinking about using freeze dried food like earthworms and maybe bloodworms and blend them up. Not sure if it would work tho.
