the once small and shy is now mean mugging me and badgering me for food. he slams into the side of his 5 gallon..sticks is tongue to the tank and so on this is him the other day...




He/she has doubled in size since april 8th

which gets bigger? boys make noise ( Ihad a huge male who croaked alot on warm nights) ..how long does it take for them to mature enough to do that?

oh and my friend has a pac man frog that screams when you touch it..is that normal? it seems to get mad...I told her it was normal but to stop poking it.

Way too small to tell. Males get larger than females. You shouldn't poke the frogs.

Nice frog and username, lol. Can't tell from the pictures you took - take some pictures above the frog so we can see the frogs' head better. Males can croak at around 4-5" (semi-adult). Your friends pacman does the screaming as a defense mechanism when it feels threatened, stressed or irritated. Not recommended to do to a frog. You can find videos all over YouTube of pacmans doing it.

Definitely a male, unless it's a female. I'd say 50/50 at this point.

Are both of those pictures the same frog? I'll poke my neck out and say It's a male based on attitude, growth, and frontal features you provided in the first pic

edit: oh and from the top picture I see the beginnings of a developed adams apple (i know people will think I'm crazy) but all of my males have that protruding bump on their necks when they are growing.
