So over a month ago, I bought two baby Blue Whites Tree Frogs from Petsmart. They both had green backs and white tummies.
They came in a week apart and I housed them together for their time in quarantine. One is dong well, acts normal, looks normal, and is eating.
The other one developed brown spots on the back. Similar to the Neon Green Spots of Doom, but they were brown and not green. Once this happened I put them in separate enclosures.
Next the brown spots seemed to have taken over, and the back of the frog was all brown. Once this happened the skin on the tummy turned transparent. And when I say transparent, it's like glass frog transparent. I can see all it's little organs inside there.
This frog acts normal, and eats. It sleeps on the wall of his quarrantine tub, soaks in the water dish for a reasonable amount of time, and enjoys eating crickets.

that's rather interesting. i wonder what the cause could be?

My 15 year old White's Tree Frog Hetfield (RIP 1996-June 4, 2012) and my little girl Lucy
Maybe this is a natural change for a blue phase? I have never heard of this before. @.@
Hes adorable, though. I guess as long as hes eating, pooping, and generally acting normal I wouldn't be overly concerned. I would keep them separated, though, and keep a close eye on that belly.
That is wild looking! Can you see his food after he has eaten too?
