Okay I have had these 5 frogs in this same tank since Saturday. (and YES, I found the fifth missing frog from my earlier post) Anyway, I'm still new to this and have been reading lots and lots of information about how to best take care of my frogs. And i'm getting a little worried, overall I think my frogs are healthy and happy. They eat well, they play and frolic around the tank, they sing. What i'm worried about is there is this white fuzz that seems to be accumulating on everything in the tank, i think some of it is from them shedding but there is way too much of it at least i think for just 5 of them. I'm still a little unsure about the natural tank "cycle" and wonder is this white fuzz is apart of that. and also i'm concerned about the decorations in the tank i have for them to hide in. Also i will post some pics so i can get your guys' input on my setup. Okay so here are the numbers/facts, I have 5 ADF's in a 20 gallon tank, 16" tall with 14" of water in it. Has a lid with a light. I have the tank in front of a window, that faces east, I live in UTAH, next to the mountains so direct sunlight only hits that side of the building for only a few hours in the morning, and i keep the blinds closed most of the day i only open them up a little bit to let a little natural light to enter the room. I have no Filter in the tank, or thermometer, and the frogs are the only inhabitants in the tank. I will be getting PH test kit, and thermometer soon. I did a 25% water change today, and I use treated tap water in the tank. Any tips/suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!![]()
