    Default Got this common pacman.

Looks like a common Pacman to me, first one i have owned in like 20 years or so. So far he has eaten a few crickets, got him from Petland a week ago. Paid 18 bucks and i set him up in a 5 gallon with eco earth. Mean little sucker too. Anyhow hope to have him for a long time. I don't have a water bowl per say in his enclosure, i do spray him though, should i add a shallow water bowl for him to soak, or should i remove him and do the soaking separately. Thanks in advance.

I would put a small bowl in there for him to soak if he chooses. Cute little bugger you got there.

Yeah, you can add a water bowl. Just make sure that he can comfortable sit up without his mouth being submersed. And yes, the "common pacman frog" is generally considered to be the Ceratophrys cranwelli, which is what your cute little guy is.

This looks like it's a decently setup starter tank (assuming it has a lid with holes to keep in humidity). It'll probably be a good idea to upgrade his tank size and add cocofiber as substrate once he gets a little bigger. Don't be afraid to ask any questions that you might have.

I actually have him/her set up in a 5 gallon with coco fiber. And 3/4 glass cover to keep humidity at 80%. He has been eating crickets with no problem after he settled in so I am happy about that. Thanks everyone for responding and helping me out.

That's quite the little cutie you have there! A lot of people overlook Cranwellis, but I think they are beautiful! And being fiesty is a good thing; those ones are usually better eaters, although you have to watch your fingers!! :-D Congrats on your new addition!
