I just got to thinking about how to make a 50/50 tank. You could use a paint tray liner for teh aquatic side since they taper down to a deep end and all the way up to the lip so a natural slope. plus you wouldn't near nearly as much depth.

Why couldn't you just not cut the plexiglass wall so high and leave the whole water side open?

Each night after feeding mine burrows to the glass until I dig him up the next night for feeding. I don't mind him doing it. Would be nice to see him once and a while though. My huge dwarf is the same except he makes tunnels everywhere

he looks great! mine doesnt burrow much either if he does its only to his belly i need to get some new videos of mine eating and his colors mine kept his vibrant colors (so far) hope yours does too!

Just bought the 306 fluval today. I'm hoping to make a walk in terarium if the wife lets me. 300 square foot, so I will probably need two of them for the water feature someday just have to order a pipe to get the water lower so it doesn't fall into the water, and splash to much.

When should I start questioning gender? just picked it up to move it to another tank while i replace the water in his pond and he did a kind of croaky squeek noise, is this any indication? its probably too young and im just getting ahead of myself

Yours is so colorful, reminds me of my dwarf when i got him. My little one lost most his color already
