So obviously I'm pretty excited! The guy at xenopus express was so helpful and hopefully by this time tomorrow I'm going to have 2 new reticulated albinos and a PIEBALD! Pretty cool stuff. The piebald is gorgeous, but as deformities run about 50% in piebalds, "Shorty" as the company named him has a twisted spine and the limbs on his right side are shorter lol. It just makes him very cute. I hand-feed my frogs anyway so he should be fine even with his handicap.
The two reticulateds are soooo pretty. One is lighter and one darker. And I think it may be male and female, so there's a chance for some highly reticulated babies in the future.
I'll post pics a little later.
I am very excited

They're here! They arrived safe and sound this morning around 9:30. I'm blown away by how beautiful they are. The piebald is incredible and has the cutest pose (due to crooked spine). I'm sure that the piebald and the darker reticulated are male. The lighter reticulated I'm about 80% sure is male. Shorty, the piebald, swims pretty well and really liked resting on my hand, he seems pretty tame. Everybody is in good shape (although not as chubby as I usually like my frogs, but I'll fatten 'em up). Shorty started calling right away and everyone has already had their first meal. I have EIGHT frogs now... How did this happen? Lol if someone had told me 6+ years ago when I bought my first frog, Steve, at a Petco that I would become totally obsessed with them I wouldn't have believed them. My roommates don't get it, but I'm embracing the weird, so whatever lol.
Now for pics!!

Wowzers those are some fatty legs on Shorty! Very cool. Congrats on the new froggers. Looks like they will be some cool tank mates.
I always wondered how they shipped those frogs. Looks like foam or cotton with water. Interesting.
Sad I didn't see this sooner. Great frogs, thanks for the pics.
