Hey all,
I have been around reptiles most my life, However this is my first exsperaince with Fire belly toads. I got this pair of FBT from a friend of the family and they told me they have had them for a little over a year. I have had them for about a month and half and have not had any issues. My wife tells me she has heard and seen the frogs mating from what she thinks and they both have gone through a shed recently. However with this one from which is a brown top color with a red belly, and belived to be female because this from is thicher and bigger then the other green top and red belly frog. I am concerned with what is sticking out of the frogs back side. I have dealt with lizards and you will see a hemipin<--SP stick out, but like I said I am still new to frogs. Any help or suggestions to what I should do is appriciated.
Thanks
could it be a prolapse of some sort? I have had FBTs for years and I have never seen anything like this. It doesn't look normal.
