    I have a 25 gallon and a 30 gallon square-type tanks. I'm pretty sure the bromeliads are small, the leaves spread out to around a foot total, and there's reddish small leaves on it as it prepares to flower, I think. There were some bigger ones there.

    I would suggest also doing a soap spray on them. This will help kill any bugs that may be on the plants axis.
