Hi,
I think it is a kind of an emergency...
Here are the facts:
I have 2 budget frogs. They are ~2.5 years old.
I keep them in a "all water" setup, with submerged water filter and branches, etc.
3 days ago, I feed them with pinky rats, nothing special about it.
Last night, one of the from became super-hyper: jumping against the windows, splashing all around. I was wondering a bit...
Now, I just realize that the frog (same one I guess) is now laying on the water filter, partially out of the water, not moving with blood drip on both knees. The frog is "hard", stiff, and all the white/beige color on the stomach is light red/brown.
The other frog is in perfect shape.
Water is clean, no floating particles, etc.
Could it be what is called "redLegs disease"? (in a clean water thank?)
or
Maybe the pinky was ... indigestible?
Let me know if there is something I should do...
Regards,
Alex
