Unfortunately I can't help you out with acquisition, but I can give you some suggestions as to what to purchase for your first frog! My first frog/toad pair was an American Green Tree Frog (Hyla Cinerea) and a Christmas Toad (Bufo Espinuloso), and both were great! White's Tree Frogs are very hardy as well and make excellent first pets (from what I've read). If you prefer terrestrial frogs then Bullfrogs and Leopard Frogs are great as well. The best suggestion I can give you is to research what is best for you, then build a terrarium setup that fits it. Good luck and have fun!
