Hello!
I got a new baby froglet a few days ago. He is a cute little thing and always curious. I have been feeding him pellets, frozen bloodworms, and little cut up pieces of earthworms. I was curious how people feed their frogs? Mine doesn't really like eating off the bottom of the tank and he will eat the pellets that float. I was feeding him with a toothpick since he didn't like coming to the top of the tank until the lid was closed but now he's getting used to the feedings and he wants to eat off the toothpick. I just don't feel comfortable using a toothpick since it might injure his mouth. Any recommendations would be amazing!
Thank you!
Hi!
It´s a baby ACF I guess?
The food you use is fine, but you could also try other kinds of frozen foods. I use a long forceps with a blunt tip to feed my ACFs. Your frog will learn to eat at least the floating food by itself, but a forceps can help with foods that will sink and possibly rot in the gravel.
Amphibians kept:

2.4.0 Xenopus laevis
0.1.0 Hypselotriton orientalis
3.0.0 Hyloxalus azureiventris
4.1.0 Pipa parva
2.1.2 Bombina orientalis
1.0.0 Ceratophrys cranwelli
2.2.0 Bombina orientalis
Yes, it is a baby ACF. I plan on getting more frozen food in a couple of days. I will try looking for long forceps! Thank you!![]()
