Make sure you have a place for them to climb onto when they start reabsorbing their tails. Then, they probably won't eat for a bit. It seemed forever before mine wanted to eat after that. But fruit flies were the best choice for them. They are amazingly tiny little frogs when they first change over, and fruit flies were the smallest thing I could find for them. Nobody around here had pinhead crickets.
