Pinheads may be too big yet, I would try flightless fruit flies and see if that works! I would also continue doing that in a separate container.

Thanks, I'll try that. The pinheads are about the size of the space between his eyes, so I thought they would be ok. Typically, when do the froglets start showing interest in food?

I believe they show more interest right AFTER they lose their tails. I would imagine that he will be very interested then. Be sure to dust the food w your vitamin supplement!

That's great. Thank you so much for answering my questions. We've had tree frogs for years, but this is the first time we've raised a tadpole or had a true frog for a pet. :-)
