So, about a month and a half ago, I found my Gray Tree Frog Abigail in my bathroom.
Well I came home last night from work and found that my fiancé had found ANOTHER Gray Tree Frog! Say hello to...... PETE C:
Here are the best pictures I could get at the moment:
He's the smaller one C: I measured him. He's almost exactly 1˝ inches, which Abigail is just about 2 inches. I'm SUPER excited C:
He's much more active that Abigail. He was hopping all over the tank last night.
Either he is very young or he is a He and if its the latter I would be careful and keep a good eye on them. Both have been naturally "cycled" which means you could get a heck of a tone of tadpoles.
But he is frigin adorable! Specially that third pic. Hes all like, "Hero?"![]()
I wish Grey Tree Frogs would show up randomly in my bathroom! lol. Congrats on your new addition!
I wish Gray Tree Frogs would do that for me. I'm still waiting on #4, I hear them all the time and I go out on hikes in my backyard near the creek and yet I still haven't found one yet.
Thank you everyone! Sorry for the late replies, I've been on vacation (still am) and this is the first time I've gotten on a computer in a week. So I've got some more pictures to share of the two. Enjoy!
They seem to enjoy laying under a leaf on the log together C:
Looks like two very happy frogs. I'm surprised at how many folks have green Gray Tree Frogs. The 3 I have either go from dark gray (almost black) to white or in Primavera's case stay the light gray with the markings being a darker shade of gray.
Yeah, when I first got Abbi she was super green, but she hasn't been that green since. And Pete hasn't been green yet.
Though they seem to have become best friends xD There's this log in the enclosure that Pete likes to go into, but Abbi never really went in there except for when I first got her. I got up this morning and searched for them, and they were BOTH in the log together. It was just TOO cute C:
