Main diet?

Whether its a fuzzy or pinky it is full of fat. Rodents are very fattening. Their pups are extremely full of fat due to them nursing their mother. With there bellies full of milk they have a lot of fat content. Both have bones and calcium content even if the pinky's are not as developed. Frogs have trouble digesting mammalian tissues so adding hair to the process makes it that much worse and even more of a risk for impaction and prolapsed intestine. Better safe than sorry. If you need more calcium content you dust the pinky before offering it. Problem solved.

Just what I was thinking. I never feed any rodents to reptiles eigther (exept most snakes ofcorse).
When a reptile isn't doing well, maybe a pinky/fuzzy could help gain a little fat. But in my experiance I never suggest feeding rodents anyway. Even my large monitors were only fed rodants on occasion, they don't need it.
Comming bac to the Ceratophrys, No rodents then as it could do more harm than good.

Yea I agree I was just saying with my monitors even as baby's we don't bother with pinkies I wouldn't give to a frog
