    Default White's not happy...

My white's tree frog is usually bright green and has been pretty active recently. Today when i got home he was very brown, more than I have seen before. is he OK? His tank is about 70 which for night time is a little warmer then what he is used to but it has been that way for a couple of days and his humidity is about the same as always. I sprayed him down with some cooler water then what was in his tank.

    Hi Katie,
He sounds okay? Especially if he is eating and popping as usual.
I'm sure you know they will change color in response to their mood and immediate environment.
I would however, refrain form spraying the frog directly.
During these times of changing humidity. I live in NY;I understand. There have been wide fluctuations over the past few days --- make changes slowly.
Set up a fan near by. It will drop the temp and humidity. So, place it in position so it provides a constant benefit to parameters in the enclosure, and NO sudden changes.
The fan will also provide valuable ventilation that is always needed.

I use a little computer fan w/ a timer. Simply adjust the timer for the enclosure needs depending on the time of year.
You could purchase an inexpensive desk fan for the job. I found a 15 minute interval timer at home depot for less that $10.
I run my fan all year. I just move it further from the enclosure and run it less often in the cooler months.

    Hope this helps.
