I myself dont smoke, but my roommate does. She smokes cigs and doesnt even crack a window. She sits in a cloud of smoke till I air our place out. I plan on weather sealing the door that the pacs are going to be in. Does anyone else have pacs in a home where someone smokes? Does it affect the pacs at all? How close does the smoker smoke to the frogs?
No one in my house smokes, but it is irresponsible to have a pet sealed in a house breathing smoke. This goes for birds, amphibians, reptiles, dogs, cats, etc.
Frogs have lungs, so imagine smoke from the ciggarette breathing it into their tiny lungs. It will reduce their lifespan and their health. My suggestion would be to ask your roommate if she could start smoking outside.

This will seriously stress out your frog and as Mark said lessen the lifespan. Not to mention that stress is the number one killer of captive frogs.
You have to remember that not only are the frogs breathing it in, but they will also absorb the carcinogens through their skin. I wouldn't recommend it. We used to smoke but decided that it was not good for our pets years ago....so we started smoking only outside of the house. We are now using the electronic cigarettes and do use them inside, but they do not have any output other than a water vapor. Any nicotine in the liquid is absorbed by us when we take a drag immediately with nothing in the exhalation.
If you can't get your roommate to smoke outside or open the windows or something, and you still end up getting a frog, can you keep the tank on the floor? If you keep it on the ground and put a blocker under the door that might minimize its exposure to the smoke. I had the same issue for a month or so when I first got mine, but the frog wasn't in that situation long enough to tell if any of that really helped or not.
Placing a damp of moist cloth over the top of the tank will prevent the smoke from entering the enclosure.
I dont have to were about smokers because my mother as asthma and everybody goes outside
