I just got a Baby pacman frog yesterday and s/he seems to be doing good. I have the tank half moss and half coconut fiber. S/He is around an inch big. I keep the tank moist with a water bowl and a hide.
S/he hasn't eaten yet but I think thats stress...right?
S/He didn't move around that much either (only a few cm over night), s/he just sits in one spots, burries a bit and then later goews to a different one, is that normal?
Thanks
That is normal. Pacmans don't really move too much, but just incase what are the temps and the humidity in the cage?
Thanks for replying
The temps are in the 20's Celcius, and I mist him a few times a day to keep it moist. He also has a hide & water bowl.
You'll have to forgive me but that is lower 70's in Fahrenheit, right? Most people keep them about 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Do you have a humidity gauge in the tank? I usually recommend one and they are fairly cheap. That way you know for sure it's not too humid in there.
Ok I'll turn the lamp up, since the one who was selling him (he keeps pacmans himself) said he doesn't need a heat pad. Does he?
Thought I might post some pics![]()
