Look what i found...what is it?

That looks like a Narrow Mouthed Frog of some kind. A type of Chubby Frog. They are burrowers. I didn't know any species of those lived in Florida. Post this in the Tomato Frog/Chubby Frog section to see if anyone gives you a exact species.

Thanks, i was pretty dumbfounded, because i thought it was tomato on the spot, even checked to see if we had any recent out break of them here in florida, nope. Will do, again, thanks.

North eastern narrow mouth, your comment reminded me of something i had read, im positive thats what he is. Makes perfect sense, in a sandy field, LOADED with ants and termites and crickets with a pond nearby. What narrow mouth could resist that?
