Substrate dividers and where to get them from?

Ive just come across substrate dividers on the net which would be a great idea for my tank instead of using a pot.
I was wondering where i could purchase one of these from or whether i could just go down to my local DIY shop and pick up a sheet of plastic to cut into shape?

I have 2 FBT's would the DIY route harm them?

If you were looking online and found them...why not order them online? Unless, you prefer local; then doing some Googling on "substrate divider" some people seem to use the weed tarp (that black stuff you put in gardens to keep weeds from growing), window screening or the plastic mesh things you find in a sewing section -- just to give you some ideas on what you would prefer to use.

i prefer window screen over landscaping fabric for drainage reasons

yeah im looking for a window screen and the online ones are very few and wrong sizes.. i was wondering of alternatives. mesh and weed tarp wont work within my tank as i have fire bellied toads and they require half aquatic and like josh stated before the drainage purposes of them wouldnt be ideal.
Thanks anyway for your help they are still great suggestions sadly they wont be of use in my tank
