Sorry , I lost track of this post. It's not that it would be bad for them, although small !!! It would just be MUCH , MUCH better if it were as tall as possible.
ie for example -a 10 gallon could be saved for a hospital/quarantine tank( which, ideally should be available anyway)
Maybe there is a Memorial Day sale at a big box pet joint. See how contagious this is one thing leads to another !!!!!
